Menin Gate - Leper - Belgium

Every night at 8.00 pm under the Menin Gate in Leper, call it respect, reverence or just a plain tribute; the town comes to a halt in a moving ceremony.

Members of the regular buglers from the local volunteer Fire Brigade parade under the memorial arch to play the Last Post in a fitting tribute to the fallen of World War I.

I was amazed and grateful to see the large number of youngsters attending.
